Shipping Policy

At Riszape, shipping is designed to be straightforward and dependable. Many pieces are handcrafted from solid wood, so every carton is heavy-duty, lined with thick foam plus corner protectors, and passed to reputable furniture carriers. From checkout to delivery, you’ll see a clear price, a realistic timeline, and careful handling at every step.

Where we ship

Riszape currently ships to the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, Canada, Italy, Belgium, and Portugal.

Riszape cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or certain remote territories (for example: Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and select outlying island regions in Europe and Australia). A street address—home or business—is required so solid-wood items can be handled correctly. If your location is outside these areas or unusually hard to access, please contact us before ordering to confirm options.

Carriers and service levels

Depending on destination, parcel size/weight, and current network capacity, Riszape uses UPS, FedEx, USPS (for select small U.S. parcels), and DHL Express for international routes. Large or heavy tables may ship by freight truck with a liftgate for curbside delivery (to your driveway/curb, not inside your home). Some high-value shipments may require a signature. If a signature is required, you’ll see that noted in your tracking email.

Processing time is the period for final checks and packing before carrier pickup.
Shipping time is the carrier’s transit time after pickup. International deliveries may require additional time for customs clearance. Severe weather or carrier backlogs can add 1–3 business days.

Solid-wood furniture is bulky and heavy. Carriers often price by dimensional weight (size plus weight), and larger tables typically require freight service with a liftgate and appropriate insurance. Multi-item orders may ship in separate boxes to prevent damage—there’s no extra charge for split shipments. Riszape subsidizes part of the actual carrier cost so you receive sturdy packing, cautious handling, and transparent totals at checkout.

Taxes and duties

The total you see at checkout—your product cost plus any flat shipping fee—is all you pay to Riszape. For international orders, Riszape covers import taxes, VAT, and customs processing, so the carrier should not collect money at delivery. If anyone asks you to pay at the door, do not pay—contact us and we’ll resolve it.

Processing and dispatch

Most orders enter final checks and packing within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. public holidays). Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST usually begin processing the same business day; later orders begin the next business day. Pre-order or made-to-order items ship after completion—your confirmation email will show the estimated ship-by date.

Furniture shipping and assembly

To protect heavy components and make moving easier, many products ship partly disassembled. Every order includes a clear, picture-led assembly guide; most also include a basic tool (e.g., an Allen key). Typical setup time is 20–30 minutes. Prefer help? We can recommend third-party assembly services in major cities across the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Australia (their fees are separate from standard shipping). If you need room-of-choice delivery or assistance with stairs, tell us before we ship so we can suggest options.

Tracking your order

When your order leaves our workshop and showroom at 14 Woodcock Cir, Abilene, TX 79605, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number and a direct tracking link. Tracking may take 24–72 hours to show movement—especially on international routes while customs scans are pending. If there’s no update after 72 hours, contact us and we’ll check with the carrier.

If something goes wrong

If your item arrives damaged, contact Riszape within 72 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos or a short video showing the packaging and affected areas. Please retain all packaging until we confirm next steps.
If your parcel appears lost—no movement for more than 7 days or not delivered within 14 business days after shipping—reach out to us. Once the carrier confirms loss, we’ll ship a replacement at no extra cost or issue a full refund.

Order changes and cancellations

You may cancel an order that has not begun processing or shipped; please notify us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of purchase. After an order has been processed and handed to the carrier, cancellation isn’t available. After delivery, you’re welcome to use our Return & Refund Policy. For international orders, cancellation isn’t available once the shipment has cleared customs. Need to change the address? Contact us before shipping; after shipping, carriers may charge a re-route fee.
